One of the most successful forms of business is franchising because they have a real system for getting and keeping customers. These are real customers who continue to come back and spend their money over and over. This gives the franchise good cash flow which in turn helps them produce a profit in which they can grow their business even more. The key are the customers. This is the key to any business whether its traditional business, a new business or online business. Compare this to almost all of the home businesses in which its a distributor model (or called associates, partners, members, whatever you want to call them). With these home businesses which are usually classified as a direct selling company, network marketing or MLM (multi-level marketing), they have mostly distributors. These are people who are buying the product or service mainly because they want to make money. When they dont make money, then they usually quit buying and then quit the business altogether.
